Group exhibition featuring collaborative project “The Three Legged Fox” as well as individual work. 28 April - 6 June 2008Adrem Dreamspace Gallery, 1-3 Dufferin Street, London, EC1V

The Three Legged Fox ‘pub’ was conceived and constructed by all four members of the group. It tied together their individual work and personifies their common threads of humour and kitsch in a twisted celebration of the realities of Peckham, their home turf.

On the opening night of the exhibition the pub came to life serving drinks to its invited ‘customers’. For the duration of the show it acted as an homage to the disappearing traditional London boozer, and a showcase for the collective spirit of Garudio Studiage

Individual work included:

Chris Ratcliffe
Peckham Dust Screenprint on paper
Images of his local observations using real dirt gathered from the streets of Peckham. Click here for more information about this project.

Laura Cave
Fridge Magnets Screenprinted anodised aluminium
This is an interactive piece; as the buyer takes their magnet away, they must write down five things they have in their fridge in the space that’s left behind. This way the viewer contributes to the work and it evolves through the duration of the show. Click here for more information about this project.

Anna Walsh
Dogs of London Screenprints on paper
Anna’s Dogs of London illustrated poster is a continuation of her animal based paintings and illustrations, with a playful take on social stereotypes and local observations. More information about this project. Click here for more information about this project.

Hannah Havana
Record Breakers adapted vinyl records, paper, felt, mixed media
Record Breakers uses Hannah themes of wordplay and humour to give a playful new life to some carefully selected second hand records, from deliciously tactile cartoon portraits on vintage children’s singles, to graphic wall pieces inspired by the titles of this eclectic and kitsch collection of vinyl.
