The Royal Celebration Sensation

The Royal Celebration Sensation brings a slice of Vegas to London, in a supremely kitsch take on the fun, folly and fever surrounding this years' Royal Wedding. In a collaboration with Cecil Court's Tenderproduct, the collective bring a royal twist to their obsession with animals with a Vegas-style wedding chapel scene for a very loved up pair of cardboard corgis.

Shop window display featuring a large cake model adorned with blue ribbons and tabloid-style tea towels. The towels have bold text quotes on them about royal topics. Two corgi images and a heart decoration are placed on the cake, and various tabloid-themed items are scattered around.

The shop window becomes a mixed-up celebration with the happy couple surrounded by tongue-in-cheek souvenirs and witty side-swipes at the hype surrounding the event. For sale are ironically rebellious tea towels featuring real newspaper headlines that state official & public opinion on souvenirs, whilst other products include oversized cardboard cut outs of the infamous engagement ring and spectacular hand made corgi jewellery.
